Kall Music: make your own Jewish instrumental music in the browser
Kall Music is a free kosher music maker: drum steps, a piano roll, a mixer, pads and Jewish templates, with MP3 export. No login, nothing uploaded. How to make your first song.
Kall Music is a kosher music maker for anyone who has a niggun in their head and wants to hear it with a band behind it: bochurim, teachers, badchanim, and kids who like to tinker.
What is inside
- Step sequencer for drums, so you can lay down a freilach or a slow hora beat in seconds.
- Piano roll for melody and chords, with a built-in keyboard on screen.
- Templates – start from a chassidish beat, a kumzitz feel or a wedding dance, then change what you like.
- Playlist – chain sections (intro, verse, high part) into a full song.
- Mixer – volume and pan per track, so the melody sits on top.
- Pads – tap-to-play sounds for live playing.
- Mic take – record a voice or an instrument over your track.
- Export to MP3 or WAV.
How to make your first song
- Open music.kallin1.com.
- Pick a template (or start empty) and tap play.
- In the Steps tab, tap squares to turn drum hits on and off.
- In the Piano roll, draw notes for your melody. Hold a note to lengthen it.
- Open the Mixer to balance the tracks.
- Tap Export → MP3 and the file saves to your device.
Nothing leaves your device
Everything happens inside your browser. There is no account, no upload, and it keeps working offline after the first visit. It is the kind of music tool a yeshiva can safely let a class use.
Ideas
- A backing track for a Chanukah play.
- A clean instrumental for a slideshow in Kall Editor.
- A ringtone that is actually yours.
